Head Line CAPSTONE delivers NCD Prevention and Management training at UG

The CAPSTONE project successfully held the NCD Prevention and Management Short Course at the University of Ghana School of Public Health from April 13–17, 2026. The course centered on strategies for preventing and managing non-communicable diseases (NCDs), covering key topics such as the chronic care model, primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention, and the integration of NCD care with a focus on multidisciplinary approaches and task redistribution. Participants were also introduced to the application of challenge-based learning in NCD prevention and management. Overall, it was a highly valuable and insightful learning experience for all who took part.
