Kwame is an Associate Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Ghana Medical School (UGMS), and Consultant Obstetrician/Gynecologist at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Ghana with remarkable clinical experience. Kwame

is graduate from the University of Ghana Medical School (MD/MPhil) and Utrecht University (MSc/PhD in Clinical Epidemiology) .

He has extensive research

experience in maternal health including hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, cesarean sections, postpartum hemorrhage, preterm birth, respectful maternity care, maternal morbidity/mortality. Kwame has served as a Consultant

for WHO on several Maternal and Reproductive Health projects including respectful maternity care since 2015.
